MQPLASTIC

How to order

From datasheet to delivered pallet, in five steps.

We’re quote-based by design. Here’s exactly how a request for quotation (RFQ) moves through MQ Plastic — no checkout button, no surprises.

  1. Step 1

    Browse the catalog

Filter 1,691 grades by resin family, producer, and performance specs — or ask ResinIQ to shortlist candidates from a plain-language description of your part.

  2. Step 2

    Add to your quote list

Every material card has an add-to-quote action. Build a list across families and producers without losing your place — it persists as you browse.

  3. Step 3

    Submit your request

Review your list, add quantities and shipping preference, and submit. You'll get a reference code to track the request.

  4. Step 4

    Receive formal pricing

A material engineer reviews your request and returns formal pricing, lead times, and datasheets — typically within one business day.

  5. Step 5

    Place your order

Accept the quote and we handle the rest: producer allocation, documentation, and air or sea freight to your floor.

Common questions

Ordering FAQ

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

Most engineering grades start at one standard bag or box (typically 25 kg), and commodity resins at one pallet. MOQ varies by producer and grade — the exact figure is confirmed on your formal quote, and we'll flag it before you commit.

How long does shipping take?

Air freight typically delivers within 7 days worldwide. Sea freight is slower but far more economical for large volumes — usually 3–6 weeks depending on destination. You choose your preference at quote time and we confirm transit estimates in writing.

Do grades come with certifications and datasheets?

Yes. Every tier-one grade ships with the producer's certificate of analysis and full technical datasheet. Food-contact, UL94, and regulatory documentation are available for qualifying grades — ask your engineer if a specific certification matters for your part.

What payment terms do you offer?

Standard terms are proforma invoice for new accounts, with net-30 available for established customers subject to review. We accept bank transfer and can arrange letters of credit for large international orders.

Why can't I just buy online with a checkout button?

Resin pricing depends on volume, producer allocation, freight, and current market conditions — a static cart price would be a guess. A formal quote protects both sides: you see exact pricing, lead time, and terms before anything ships.

Do I need an account to request a quote?

No. Anyone can browse the full catalog and submit a quote request. An account is only useful later — for saved materials, quote history, and downloadable CAE data. We gate value, not the front door.

Start with the material, not the paperwork.

Browse the catalog and build your quote list — submitting takes two minutes, and pricing usually lands within a business day.
