Terms of Service
Last updated: January 2026. These terms govern your use of mqplastic.com and any quotation or supply arrangement it leads to.
1. About this website
mqplastic.com is operated by MQ Plastic, a business-to-business distributor of engineering and commodity plastic resins. The website is a catalog, technical resource, and quotation platform. MQ Plastic does not sell goods directly through this website. There is no online checkout; every supply arrangement is concluded through a formal written quotation accepted by both parties.
2. Indicative pricing is non-binding
Prices, availability indicators, and lead-time estimates displayed on this website are indicative only and do not constitute an offer, quotation, or commitment to supply. They may change without notice as producer list prices, exchange rates, and market availability change. A binding price exists only when set out in a formal written quotation issued by MQ Plastic and accepted by you.
3. Quotations and order confirmation
- All orders are confirmed via a formal quotation stating grade, quantity, price, delivery terms, payment terms, and validity period.
- A quotation is valid only for the period stated on it. After expiry, pricing and availability must be reconfirmed.
- A contract for supply is formed only when MQ Plastic issues a written order confirmation referencing an accepted quotation.
- MQ Plastic may decline or withdraw from any quotation where information provided is incomplete, where compliance checks require it, or where supply conditions change materially.
4. Minimum order quantities
Minimum order quantities (MOQ) apply to most grades and are typically set by the producing mill — commonly full pallet or container loads. The MOQ for a specific grade is confirmed on its quotation. Orders below MOQ may be accepted at MQ Plastic’s discretion, subject to small-lot surcharges and availability.
5. Shipping and delivery
- Goods ship worldwide by air and sea. The mode of transport, carrier, and Incoterm are agreed per quotation.
- Delivery dates are estimates given in good faith and are not guaranteed. MQ Plastic is not liable for delays caused by producers, carriers, customs authorities, or events beyond its reasonable control.
- You are responsible for import clearance, duties, and taxes unless the quotation expressly states otherwise.
6. Title and risk
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, risk in the goods passes to you in accordance with the agreed Incoterm. Title to the goods passes only upon receipt of payment in full. Until title passes, you must store the goods separately and identify them as MQ Plastic property on request.
7. No direct online sales
Nothing on this website — including “Add to Quote List” functionality, indicative pricing, or stock indicators — constitutes an offer for sale or an acceptance of an order. The quote list is a convenience tool for assembling an inquiry; it creates no contractual obligation on either side.
8. Technical data and suitability
Datasheets, property tables, and advisory content (including any AI assistant output) are provided for reference and are believed to be accurate, but are supplied without warranty. Final material selection, testing, and validation for your application remain your responsibility. Always verify current producer datasheets before specifying a grade for production.
9. Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of information supplied when creating an account or requesting a quotation, and for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. MQ Plastic may suspend accounts used in breach of these terms.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MQ Plastic’s aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with any quotation or supply arrangement shall not exceed the price paid for the goods giving rise to the claim. MQ Plastic is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of production, or loss of goodwill. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or personal injury.
11. Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction to be confirmed], without regard to conflict of law principles. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction unless otherwise agreed in writing on a specific quotation.
12. Changes to these terms
MQ Plastic may revise these terms from time to time. The version in force at the time a quotation is issued applies to that quotation. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
